50th Reunion Olde Guarde Induction Ceremony, Reception and Celebration Luncheon

Members of the 50th Reunion class will process into the Wren Yard, reminiscent of their own graduation day 50 years ago. The ceremony, featuring remarks by W. Samuel Sadler ’64, M.Ed. ’71 and a Service of Remembrance, is followed by a reception, where the Olde Guarde will officially welcome the class in their traditional celebration luncheon in the Sunken Garden. This seated luncheon will feature guest speaker Derek Aday, dean of the School of Marine Science and director of the Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS), and the bestowing of the 21st Olde Guarde Distinguished Service Award. The Olde Guarde Medallion is provided at no extra cost to 50th Reunion class members who register for this event.
